Gearing Up for Awaken 21

Tuesdays are generally crazy for me. I have payroll for my secular job out of Chicago among my other duties. We are also preparing for the wedding of a sweet couple at our church, Brad and Heather. God has arrested their hearts and knit His heart to theirs. Today I worked on putting their ceremony together. The vows and readings are so full of love and Him, it is going to be quite a celebration of God's love and their covenant!

We are also gearing up to begin a Corporate 21 Day Daniel Fast at Christ Central, Awaken 21. Yesterday I put together a booklet with information about fasting and included several recipes for use during the fast. We are fasting for supernatural breakthrough and increase in 2010! Becky, our Administrative Director Extraordinaire is compiling the booklets for everyone. Wednesday evening Craig will share on how to prepare for the fast.

The first day is Monday, January 11th and I was am ready... then I realized that I leave that day for California. Denise (CCD Intercession/Staff Pastor) and I are going to the School of Healing and Impartation. Being away from home on an extended leave is kind of difficult when doing a Daniel fast...  I'll just have to bring a few things along in my suitcase!

Well, the night has slipped away and I am sleepy! Tomorrow is another busy day!
